Beta terms
These terms cover the Rainge beta: the iPhone app, its coach and these pages. They’re short on purpose. By installing the beta, you agree to them. Questions go to Michael@anicca.ai.
A practice aid, not a lesson
Rainge measures your swing from video and suggests what to work on. It isn’t professional instruction, and it isn’t medical advice. Use your own judgment. If something hurts, stop, and talk to someone qualified.
Practise safely
Warm up before you hit. Set your phone up where a ball or a club can’t reach it, mind the bays either side, and follow the range’s rules, including any about filming.
It’s a beta
Rainge is provided as it is, without warranties. Screens, numbers and features will change, and some things will break. TestFlight builds expire after 90 days, so update when a new one arrives. Your original videos stay in Photos; export your buckets from Settings if you want your own copy.
Your swings are yours
Your videos, swings and notes belong to you, and they stay on your phone. The privacy policy explains exactly what reaches our server and how to delete it.
The coach
The hosted coach is for questions about your golf swing. Its answers come from an AI model and can be wrong, so treat them as a second opinion, not a verdict. Anthropic’s usage policy applies to it. Invite codes are personal: one per person, please. The coach is free during the beta, with a weekly allowance, and it can pause or be switched off. Nothing is charged.
Feedback
Bug reports and ideas are welcome. If you send one, we may use it to improve Rainge, with no obligation to you.
Ending the beta
You can stop at any time by deleting the app. Michael can end the beta, or your access to it, at any time.
Limits
To the extent the law allows, Rainge and Michael aren’t liable for injuries, lost data or other loss that comes from using the beta.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes and the beta page says so.
